In the UK we are frequently told that Breakfast "is the most important meal of the day".
For years (20+) I never ate breakfast and held a fairly consistent weight and food intake.
After much nagging I started to eat first thing in the morning, even if it felt like it was choking me!
The result was that I found myself constantly hungry throughout the day and, therefore, ate!
So, I've stopped eating breakfast again.
The result, I'm not particularly interested in food until nearer lunchtime, I feel more alert and I am seeing the start of some weight loss - without cutting back too far on my lunch and dinner. In fact, I even find I am leaving some of my evening meal because I feel full.
For me, personally, breakfast is not the most important meal of the day!!
