Matthew 6:34: ďTherefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
It is when we find ourselves in these hard places that we make the choice to worry or worship. When we worry, we listen to the voices of Acceptance ad Rejection. When we worry, we lie awake at night and ponder Satanís lies. When we worry, we have pity parties where the guests of honor are Negative Thinking, Doubt, and Resignation.
Prayer: Lord, how we long to be free from our thoughts at times and our circumstances. We know we canít be free if we donít face what was or is true. We need to face the ugly parts of our soul in order to bring them into the light of Your Grace. To change how we feel we need to adjust the way we think. With Your help, we can get through both the valleys and the victories of life. Help us not to let the enemy convince us to stay in the prison of guilt and shame. That sentence has already been served. Amen.
