Love Letter

The February challenge for the Love Yourself/Love Your Body team is to send a love letter to yourself. Here's my letter:

Dear Sue,

I’m writing this letter to you as a dear friend. I think these are words you need to hear as you don’t realize how amazing you really are.

You’ve accomplished so many things in your life. You had the strength to leave a mentally abusive relationship when you didn’t know what the future would hold for you. That took such amazing courage to move to a larger city when you didn’t know anyone there. You took a leap of faith, landed on your feet and took off running.

Your have such gentleness when it comes to the animal kingdom. You love them all from the wild birds that you feed, to your kitties and all animals that you have helped in your life. You make a conscience effort to make the right choice when it comes to your food choices making sure that their environmental impact is little on this earth.

I know that you complain that you have no patience but, you do. You have the patience to listen to people and offer them sound advice. You have shoulders that friends can lean on when they need help and arms that hold them when they need to cry.

You have a sense of humor that comes out at the right time and a smile that welcomes a person to come in, sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee.

Continue to be the amazing person you are as you continue on your journey of life. You’re doing great!
