So from my last blog when I was unsure about joining the gym, I have now decided to do so. In the time between my last blog and this one I have been to three different gym classes. I first tried a spinning class. I quite enjoyed that and it made me feel more like joining the gym. I then tried a zumba class. I didn't think it was quite as fun as I had expected. Part of the reason was that I didn't feel like it was that much of a workout. I might try it again again though as I'm thinking that if I get better then it might be a bit harder. I did a wellpower class yesterday. It was supposed to be mainly cardio with balance elements and some strength training but I think it felt mostly like balance and strength though. Which is alright. I need to build up some muscles. Afterwards I got on the treadmill and I did some short sprints. I did first 15.5 km/h for 30 seconds and I then tried 16km/h but I couldn't do that. Or well I know I can but I need more motivation. The seconds felt too long. So I reckon that if I bring my ipod then I can do it. I managed to do 15.6 km/h though so I didn't completely give up.
I then did two arm exercises before I went.
My legs are hurting a bit today but I still feel good. I feel like I did a proper exercise. I did have a bar of chocolate which was about 135 calories and I don't really feel bad about it.
I'm taking a rest day today trying to get things sorted, but I feel good.
I'm on the right track.
