This DVD was part of a set I bought called 7 days- 7 workouts.
I did 32 minutes, not sure how long the total workout is.
This workout is not exactly what I'd call high energy but it is kinda fun. I did get a little warm and a little sweaty but I didn't feel like my heart rate was way up or anything like that. It's more of a hip hop routine than a high energy workout, with some fun dances like the basketball and the butta roll. There's a little bit of poppin and lockin.
It's fun to learn some of these moves or revisit moves you might have rocked awhile ago, remember the butterfly? hehe! There is some jumping in it that helps to elevate the heart rate a little bit and warm the body. I feel like the it's a pretty easy workout.
She can be a little bit too thorough in going over the moves, that's probably my biggest complaint about the workout. She goes over and over the same three dances like a billion times. I mean you really learn the steps and dance but at one point I was like, "For the love of Jah, please teach a new sequence"!
I'm a little behind in my blogging, so next is going to be a two-fer. Next up Yoga for weight-loss and Denise Austin Cardio.
