So I've been sick but have gotten a lot better so today I thought I would actually try to complete a full workout on the new stationary bike. While being sick I would do about a mile and then say no more, that's enough! But I was determined that I would at least make it to two miles today.
There are 6 different Weight Loss Programs that the bike has that you can do. So I decided I would start with the first one. 4 miles long it goes uphill and then down hill. I guess you could say it was literally an "up hill" battle. I was listening to music while working out, I got to two miles and decided that I could do more. I told myself over and over again that "I can do this" "Don't give up now" "Keep going" And guess what? I did! It hurt like crazy I thought my legs were going to fall off, but I was not going to give up because it got hard.
The bike also lets you know if you are going fast enough, because it wants you to go at least so many miles per hour depending on the resistance, I was struggling to keep going fast enough. But I kept pushing, kept going, imagine my surprise when it beeped at me telling me I was going TOO fast!
At the end there is a straight stretch with a low resistance where it wants you to go slower as you finish up, and when you get to the end it does a countdown. 3...2...1.... Yes! Victory! I did it!!! 4 miles! It felt like one of the hardest workouts I've ever done, I now see why people say it's a great workout.
