Today's a good day

I've started swimming again. I went twice last week and I went Monday and today this week. I really enjoy it. I go and swim 1/4 mile laps in about 20 minutes. If I was really in it for the timing I know I'd be better but I'm having fun. Today I did the laps and then exercised in the deep end for 20 minutes. Let me just say "HOT TUB" after was great.

My daughter, Natalie, also joined the Spark family today. We set her up as an adult so that she and I could be "friends". She was cute setting it up. We tried as part of the SparkTeen, but when she found out we couldn't be friends she said that she didn't want to be on the website. I said we'd just set it up as an adult. Hopefully this will help her. She needs to lose about 70 pounds and she's only 14.

  Best of luck to Natalie with her weight loss goals. She will make it if she can maintain her confidence. I need to start swimming to help my exercise program get off the ground. A friend has invited me to join her when she returns to California in April. Hopefully, I will follow through with this invitation and lose a few pounds.
