You know those little bites we take for example: cleaning off the table and grabbing just one more bite..tasting over and over as we cook...they count. Add them all together and you are taking in extra calories. You must track every bite that you take.
Measuring= do not eyeball it or guess. I thought I was putting in 1 cup of milk on my cereal because I just poured it in the bowl over the cereal...looked good to me. Wrong! I measured it and it was almost 2 cups. I know it takes longer when in a hurry but it also shows up on the scale. every little bit hurts. Know for sure how much you are using.
Be honest. When you weigh in..don't put down that you lost more than you did because next week the pounds that you didn't lose don't count.
Wow what a journey we are on. Everything counts that used to be so simple...hand to mouth. But then it just keeps adding up...pound after pound until you realize that you gained so much. I didn't really think I weighed that much again but the scale is not my friend unless, of course, I lost. I know that if you have a lot to lose like me, it is sometimes frustrating. I look ahead and I have so far to go! I look back and it is just a little but it hasn't been that long and every pound off is a treasure. you can do this! Just take it a little at a time and keep going, going and going. Don't look back at what was...look ahead and see that sunshine, that glorious day when that slim person crawls out of the box and looks back at you in the mirror. " That's me?" Wow! If the scale isn't moving then look in the mirror. Is your face slimming down? Are your clothes feeling less tight? Oh wow! It is a feeling that we want to grab and not gain those pounds back!
Come on...you can do it! Come out of that box and live in the sunshine. Come out of that box and join a team...help each other, together to achieve that goal! Give each other a cheer on someone's blog. Tell someone how proud you are of them and then tell yourself how proud you are of you. Many people just set around and wish they were thin...you need to get up and just do it!
