So I have not been on in about a month! I did not totally give up...but was not really putting forth much effort! I was doing well until Christmas,then I slacked off. Once you do that it is so hard to get back on track! I am in a womens Bible Study group,and we are doing Made to crave from Lysa Terkeurst. Well It has opened my eyes on my why!! I mean I deff have wanted for a while to be healthier and feel good,but i think allot also was me wanting to be beautiful and thin and not be the person I am now! It is good to want to be pretty and thin...but We need to love who we are now! I also watched some documentaries on food,Like food inc,and hungry for change. I really thought they were eye openers for me!! Fad diets give you false hope and leave you more empty and depressed in the end! So I am going to take all the things I was working on before Christmas (because they were good goals) and add some new things to it! I will little by little cut out (as much as I can) Processed foods,drink more water!!!!,Eat and learn to like veggies! cut out sugar( as much as I can) get stevia or use honey. Try and stay away from the whites!! I want to try and clean eat,but I am not going to go and throw everything out in my kitchen! I will make little changes each shopping trip...eventually my pantry will be stocked with healthy stuff.
I am very poor,and not on any govt assistance,so eating healthy is a challenge when you barley make ends meat! For you clean eaters out there,Can you give me some tips on a cheaper way to clean eat. I welcome any advice!!
