I don't think many people really think of jewelry needing to be "plus" sized. I never used to. But I didn't always wear a lot of jewelry other than earrings and an occasional necklace. But I have discovered that bracelets are an issue. Especially the cuff and stretchy variety. I like my bracelets to have a little wiggle room. Thankfully there are not many store stretchy bracelets that I absolutely love enough to be completely broken up about. I much prefer hand-crafted. But then I run into the same problem. Many crafters use their own wrists as models. And many have delicate little wrists. I do not have LARGE wrists but mine are not tiny.
This s what inspired me to start making my own jewelry. And I love it. My pieces fit and flatter my wrists. I get compliments. And it's great for my mental health having accomplished something like this :)
If the designers won't include thousands of women with slightly bigger wrists than we can certainly do it ourselves. I for one will always have wrists this size goal weight or not. And I deserve to feel beautiful :)
I have started selling on Etsy. I don't know if I will be a success but I do love this craft and that's what matters.
