Exercise and the Superbowl

I was so upset at the loss, I went to the gym the next day and set a new PR! I turned the loss into a positive energy. It felt SO GOOD to run that long. I am still upset, but I guess that can be a good thing if I continue to exert the energy into exercise.
Anyway, now that football is behind me I can focus on my next race in 2 week. For the first time ever, I set a goal: fastest 5k time. I'm still right on track at completing my sprint triathlon. I signed up at a local yoga studio and it's been great supplementing my runs with yoga. It does get a bit pricey so I'll see what happens one month from now.
I've been doing a better job at cooking this year. It's been hectic in January because I went out of town, but I just need to jump back on and remain healthy. Something I've been terrible at is logging in my food. I really need to do that in order to take in enough calories for my running/training. I've been hungrier, and as a result, I have to eat more. Eating more is ok as long as I'm eating the right carbs...which I haven't been. Well, today will be Day 1 (again).
Even though I have more energy to exercise, I still would rather have the Superbowl win.
