I'm too sexy for my . . .

Wednesday, February 06, 2013

Saw this and thought it was so cute.

Several times my hubby has made mention "you have lost so much weight" and it really makes me feel good. Of course, he loved me when there was more of me (or as my dad used to say "with a little extra meat on the sandwich") . . . but it's kinda tough getting it into my head that I really DO look different.

How has your weight loss affected your self image?

Oh heck yes, it has. I know I walk taller and smile more now that I move without an extra 26 pounds weighing me down. I don't let it go to my head though, it has more to do with the grace of God than my own willpower, which never seems to get me very far on its own. :)

I know it has. I have lost the urge to wear loose
fitting clothes, wear my t-shirts tucked in, and
have been seen in a bathing suit a time or two.
That is one of the perks of having "less" meat
on the sandwich!

Cute and funny. Losing is a good feeling both for you and others.

    cute cute cute

I may not look great in a swim suit, but at least I do not feel like I am embarrassing my teenage son by the way I look in one. He has commented many times that he is SO thankful I do NOT look like some of the other mothers when we go to the pool. Some of that has to do with others lack of modesty as well.

My mom used to always say, "You don't have to tell everything you know." I think it applies to looks as well. Just because you have it, doesn't mean you need to show it. If I wanted to spend my whole day looking at butt cracks, I would have become a professional diaper changer.

The hidden curve is very sexy. It is an avenue some need to explore.

I used to freak out when I would get attention after loosing weight, then I would gain it back. Now I a bask in the attention!

Love the photo!

Wow, in more ways than I can say but the biggest would have to be confidence. I've always like to dress a bit "different" but now I have confidence in the way I look. I don't care if someone looks at me a bit funny or even frowns. I'm not self-conscience that it is just because I'm "sticking out" in places.

So cute! I didn't recognize the person in the mirror until recently. I look now like what I always thought I looked like.

Sometimes I look in the mirror and don't recognize myself. I'm a completely different person after losing all the weight.
