Whoa, time flies...
I've maintained my weight loss. At this point, I'm super grateful for that since I've never in my life been able to say it.
I am currently still around 195 lbs. I had a stomach bug and briefly saw 190, which was so exciting, but short lived. I will most certainly see that again, but when, I don't know.
My short term goals I mentioned in my last update are still more of less the same and hopefully I will still achieve them:
1. Become an herbalife distributor, help others lose weight, and use it to lose the next 20 lbs.
I became a distributor and have been able to share the product with family members and friends who are interested. I am currently using it, not as strictly as I should, but it most certainly has helped me keep a balance in my diet and maintain my loss.
2. Lose weight during the holidays -- even if it's ONE pound!
This was a success, mostly because I was able to offset any damaging meals and lack of exercise with herbalife shakes. Great tool, for sure!
3. Weight loss -- 20 lbs to make it to a total of 200 lost, by my 30th birthday!
Still on for this one. Hoping I can make it, but it won't happen without a real commitment. Life has been stressful lately, but I need to focus on one problem at a time. This one is definitely an important one!
4. Get on a regular running schedule and complete a 10k (even if it's on the treadmill).
The regular schedule hasn't happened, but I have run more lately than I have in recent months. Scheduling myself for a couple 5k runs and a stair climb fundraiser has helped keep me on track. (Or forced me to do something so that I don't embarrass myself, haha!)
5. Zumba cert -- early 2013
This one is going to have to go on hold a bit longer. There are a few financial commitments pertaining to this that I can't afford at the moment, but I still consider this to be a big goal of mine.
Otherwise, life is just crazy busy. Lots of good, lots of bad. Grateful for my success and still don't regret the surgery. Hoping that I can really focus soon on weight training so that I can gain more strength. I'd love that!
