Striving for progress NOT perfection...

So it's been a while but just because I haven't been on SP, it definitely doesn't mean I haven't been on my grind. :)
I've developed some very healthy habits, eating clean 80% of the time, cardio 4-5 days a week, strength training 3-4 days a week. I've gone from 168 to 147.2 lbs and even though Im still 12 lbs away from my goal weight of 135, I feel really pleased with myself. Weightloss has been a battle for me in the past but now, I have the attitude that no matter what the scale says, no matter if I feel bloated, no matter if I splurge, as long as I do the work consistently, positive results will come. I'm not striving for perfection, I'm striving for progress and progress is what I have.
I am now an Advocare nutrition coach and I help others to achieve their health and fitness goals. I did a 24 day challenge in May and have been losing weight and inches ever since. I can't say it was easy every step of the way but with the help of my coach, I was able to get on the wagon and stay on for quite some time. :) In December 2011, I was a size 12/14 and now I'm a very happy and healthy size 8. Woohoo! My goal is a 4 but I'm not in a hurry to get there. I'll ride the 8 train for a little while. :)
