Well it's not my official weigh in day so I'm not going to log it until next Monday BUT I just weighed myself and have since Monday dropped an additional two pounds. I'm not going to jinx it but this is exciting! It's not that I expect to lose a pound a day every day or anything but with the extraordinary effort that I am putting into the foods I am putting in my body I expected to see a heck of a lot more than two to three pounds a week to start with. Now I know that losing two pounds a week is standard and healthy and the right way but when you have as much to lose as I do the concensus is that the initial losses will be higher. I haven't gained weight of course and I don't expect to and seven pounds in three weeks is nothing to sneeze at but it sure would be nice to clock a big number for a week to spur me on.
HOWEVER (slamming on the brakes) I'm not going to get overly worked up over those two pounds lost in two days but instead focus on getting healthy and staying that way. It's not just about the weight loss.
