I guess I spoke too soon on Sunday. I'm now seeing the side effects of going off induction on Saturday and Sunday.
First of all, there are the physical symptoms. Yeah, let's not get into that. I'm sure you can think of what I mean. Secondly, there are the cravings that have resurfaced. These cravings caused me to eat a quarter jar of peanut butter last night and drink a couple glasses of milk. Neither of those are good for Atkins Induction.
The only thing I can say is you live and you learn. I'm not perfect. I just need to get back on track. Starting with today, which has gone great so far. I've had pork roast for breakfast, a cup of coffee with a little heavy whipping cream and Splenda, and now a big glass of water. I'll eat more pork roast for lunch, followed by a stick of cheese. For dinner tonight, I'm making my famous kale recipe with shrimp scampi (the low carb version).
I'm happy because my anxiety has been lower the last few days. I tend to have anxiety about everything, not just the bar exam - what people think of me, how I look, what's going on at work, what's going on in the world, etc. It's nice to be less anxious for a change.
