February Weigh-In

Looking at my calendar this week, I realized that I would be unable to make my mid-month weigh in at the gym next week, so I schedule it for yesterday. 1 week early, post superbowl/family weekend... I was a little nervous, but I really wasn't concerned with the weight number. i just wanted to see if my body fat % had changed.

See Results Below:
01-15-2013:
Weight: 170.4
Fat %: 33.5
Fat Mass: 57.0lb
Lean Mass: 113.4lb

02-05-2013:
Weight: 170.6
Fat %: 32.8 (-0.7%)
Fat Mass: 56.0 (-1.0lb)
Lean Mass: 114.6 (+1.2lb)

These numbers aren't bad. Truthfully, I was a bit frustrated because I feel like I've been working so hard, and the numbers just don't show it... HOWEVER, the trainer I talk to said that it's only been 3 weeks and to just keep doing what I'm doing and we'll check again in 3 more weeks. She also told me start tracking my sodium. She said we're going to break down my eating and see if there's a nutrient issue or if I'm just going to have to work hard. I told her I'd try it all.

In non-scale proof that I'm doing something right...
*I got into my skinniest skinny jeans this weekend! and wore them with confidence! usually they only fit when I'm about 8-10lbs lighter than now, so I feel really good about that!
*I also fit into my "goal skirt" thats been hanging on my bedroom wall for a month or so. I want to wear it for Valentines Day- its a red long vintage pencil skirt and when I started I couldn't even zip it! Progress if FABULOUS!

    Way to go on not letting the scale get you down. It's so easy to do, but you have SO much going for you now. Talk about momentum! I'll be curious to see what your trainer thinks of all the nutrient info. Keep up the good work!

    @Beth She recommended less than 1800mg. I had no idea how difficult that is! and it sorta sucks because I'd already made meals and snacks and stuff that will last me through at leas the rest of this week and can't really track them... but i'm definitely trying and will start ASAP. i didn't realize how much HIDDEN sodium is in things. because i hate salt, i never add salt, and i dont' eat any packaged/processed foods. but i'm going to at least see if changing it a little does anything!

So, what does your trainer suggest a daily take of Sodium is? I get so confused with Sodium LOL
