I've joined the 5% Winter Challenge. One of the assignments as part of the countdown to the start is to list why I want to lose weight. There are a multitude of them. It started out as a challenge to myself. Can I do this? Then I began really thinking about it. I want to be healthy so that someday (hopefully soon) I can become a mother and be the kind of mom I want to be. I want to be able to support my husband in his hobbies (many of which involve outdoors/physical activity). I not only want to look better but I want to feel better. I'm a junior high teacher which requires a deal of energy and I can already tell a difference in that. I also really want to have an excuse to buy a whole new wardrobe.
