During this detox, the one thing that I have realized is that this whole process is mental. I planned out how I would approach this detox. I gave myself allowances to snack on one raw veggie a day. I have a done that. I decided to reduce my activity to ensure that I can properly do maintain the detox without feeling too fatigue.
Each day I am proud of myself more and more! So today is Day 6, what I realize is that this is totally mental. The other day at work my co-worker had some bbq ribs that smelled sooo delicious. Well the crazy thing is that I do not eat pork or beef! (almost 10 years now) So why do I want the ribs!!! lol... Maybe it was the bbq smell that tempted me (I am from the south, so I love me some bbq sauce)!
I also realized that everything that I have accomplished in my life has been me setting a goal and implementing that goal! yep! And I have done that with my education and work quite well! So why is weight loss such a struggle?
Maybe because I have not truly focused on that like I have on my other accomplishments in life. Life is truly a balance and finding a balance with work, family, church business, and healthy eating is a struggle for many of us.
The good news here is that we have a support team on this site! Stay strong my spf! We will reach our health goals!
