In a couple of days we're having visitors from Austria coming (and no, there are no kangaroos in Austria emoticon ). I am pretty excited about them coming... no one ever comes accidentally to Albany, it's so far off from anywhere that people can't just quickly, spontaneously visit us. So it IS so exciting to have real visitors staying with us... yet I'm also a bit apprehensive, having people staying with you often leads to temptations to overeat, especially on unhealthy stuff... like chocolate... or even better German chocolate... I need and want to have a battle plan in place when they come yet life seems so busy and it's challenging to find enough time to actually sit down and do it. Today I spend all morning in a frenetic spring clean... or "late summer clean"... having people staying with us makes me really motivated to deep clean the place prior to their arrival, usually it's rather superficially clean... at least it's tidy and if a place is tidy it automatically seems clean as well *cough, cough* but I know better... so that's why I attacked the place like it was the last thing... I'm still not finished though... I'm procrastinating... the laundry also resembles Mount Everest and needs to be tackled... there aren't any cloths left to wear, I reckon that's a sign it's time to do it...
Ou well... I guess I better get going and tackling the tasks ahead... booking in a late night.... sigh...
