Week 3 Day 1 of C25K was tougher, but I did it and when it was done, I was glad it was over. Running, is really not my thing and I question what I was thinking when I decided to do a 5K. I question it often - particularly when I'm doing the training. But it is cool to be able to say I've made it further in this than ever before. It's an improvement and since the scale seems unwilling to budge, I'm looking for other ways to measure success. This is one. Another would be the sets of push-ups (when I started, I could only do 5 at a whack, so to get 30, it took 6 sets. Tonight, I was able to get 10 at a time, so only had to do 3 sets. Progress. Forward progress is a good thing. There was more, but it 's getting time to gather up the gym bag for tomorrow morning.
