OK I have a bit of a dilemma...I'm only allowed 2 hours of child watch at the gym every day. Knowing this, I skipped my regular Zumba class in favor of a two hour block: Pilates and our group training session. I didn't know what to expect because I've never worked with a trainer. It was only about 1/2 cardio, though. So in all, I didn't get in my cardio time today (I had planned on 45-60 minutes every day but Monday). It was a pretty intense session, but still not cardio. Calorie-wise, I think between the two classes I probably burned the same amount as I would from Zumba anyway.
I could go to another class tonight. I kind of want to and I kind of don't. I already put in 2 hours at the gym today, did laundry, did parent teacher conferences, took Miss M to dance class. I haven't planned dinner yet and I'm massively hungry.
It kind of bothers me that I should be feeling pretty proud of myself and instead I'm feeling a little bit guilty. But I guess it is only the first week. I should probably ease into it just a little bit.
