I'm starting to take small steps toward my goals. Today, I am proud of these 3 things:
1. I was going out and my hubby asked me to pick up treats. It would've been so easy to do. I love treats! And I was going to be right next to a convenience store. But I asked him, "We don't really need treats tonight do we?" And he (begrudgingly?) said no. So we are going treat-free tonight.
2. I made us a healthy salad with chicken for supper. Although it's not something I would ever crave, it was filling and satisfying.
3. I literally and figuratively dusted off my treadmill and walked for 15 minutes. I burned a whopping 88 calories! LOL. But, I know it's a step in the right direction. And I'm not putting a lot of pressure on myself about exercise right now because of the pregnancy.
I'm ok with the 2 chocolate chip cookies I had at work today. Baby steps!!
