I really planned on being in "beast" mode as of Friday of last week, but had to put the beast back in the cage for a few. I started a new position at work (well, training) and it seems I just don't have the energy. I think the only thing that's saving me is the fact that I'm still counting calories and watching my food intake.
Plus.. I hit the treadmill Sunday, but that's the last time I've done anything. Of course, I didn't heed my own advice ( and that of my fellow Spark fam) and may have tried to go too fast, so my leg started hurting again.
Now.. a funny thing happened after that. I went home took an Aleve then my son, my sister, my niece and I went over to the trampoline park. I just knew I was going to be in pain after jumping on the trampolines (there's that hard head of mine again)..but no. As a matter of fact, I haven't felt any pain since. It's been two days..and nothing. I know Aleve doesn't last that long.
Before I jump the gun and just assume it's all good in the leg pain department. I'm going to ease up for a bit, and stick to the dumbbells and Total Gym until I'm certain the "storm" has passed and hopefully that momentum I had a couple of weeks ago will have returned.
