Well - I done did it.....

Tuesday, February 05, 2013

It was a particularly trying day today, so what do I think I need when I get off work? oh - a personal pan pizza sounds good....and a PEPSI too. (stress does NOTHING for my will power)

So - I order it and go pick it up (hey - at least it was a PERSONAL pan pizza and I only downed 2 1/2 slices) and EAT and drink and be merry! NOT!

....I do declare that was quite possibly the worst pizza I've ever had ..... and the pepsi tasted funny too. emoticon

....Of course that didn't stop me from eating!

Good grief will I ever learn to exercise instead of eat when I get stressed out?????????????

Time will tell - and I WILL get to that point!

Been there and done this myself. I am not perfect with my goals either but I found the best thing for me to do was log it and start over on the SAME DAY with the next planned meal or snack. And to log what my feelings were that lead to the event helped. Stress can do this to us. Give yourself a pat on the back for being honest with yourself and us, for identifying the emotion that triggered it, That is progress and suggess. Hugs

We all occasionally lapse and eat something we shouldn't. BUT I would really prefer it to TASTE GREAT when I do! Nothing worse than a rubber crust pizza when you are indulging and want fresh, hot and tasty!

yes, exercise really does help with stress, especially cardio.
if you can make your own pizza on flatbread load it up with veggies.
Tomorrow will be better.

it's more helpful, when the stuff tastes lousy or our tummies feel not quit right, because hen it dawns on us. Like the time, I kept breaking off a piece a a time, of he extra large dark chocolate bar, one Christmas.

I know some people here have a list of on food treats for rewarding themselves , or for when stress hits. It's really helpful to these things prepared ahead of time. My sis also had a long list of advantages she gets when she is at normal rates, and the huge list of consequences in her past life. emoticon
