I WANT CHOCOLATE!

Sometimes this is SOOO HARD! BUT, I got my 3 miles in at the recreation center! And this morning I am down ANOTHER POUND! YAY ME!!! Going to try and stay busy..maybe go somewhere away from food! Hope everyone is doing good!

    I say "Ditto" to NancyPat1's comment. I didn't think I could live without it...or ever turn it down. But suddenly this time...it's working. I have a large bar of 73% cacao chocolate in the cupboard (the higher the cacaco, the better it is for you). I take one square when I think I must. (The first time I read of someone eating only 1 square I thought they were lying...but it can be done!) Yesterday I room for chocolate in my plan, but it was almost bedtime & I decided the calories & fat are really NOT worth it. It lasts 1 minute & I've undone my day's exercise. That's NOT a good trade!

    I'll bet you conquer this challenge and you'll feel so great. But keep it as an option & not a forbidden food. Forbidden foods take on an aura that's hard to resist. Give yourself permission to eat it and you may find you'd rather wait a few hours...or maybe tomorrow...or maybe none today.
    You are doing soooo well!!! 11# since mid-January and exercise every day...that's the ticket! emoticon

    Thank you for the encouragement! I have been walking to the store for a peppermint patty. It is a mile round trip. So ,if I want candy,I (sometimes) walk to the store to get it. And I plan for it in my calories for the day. I have been exercising everyday except Fridays. My day off! LOL..I LOVE Friday! BUT..I don't go off my diet much..maybe 300 calories. I am a CHOCOHOLIC!! LOL

    Get dark chocolate which is scored in squares and reward yourself one square a day as a treat

    Freeze the rest and each morning remove one square for that day

    Yes it is hard. Good luck and maybe you can PLAN to have a piece of chocolate tomorrow or the next day. Fit it into your PLAN. I have found that when In DELAY eating it when I REALLY want it but haven't planned for it, I feel good. Then I allow myself the treat another day or another time because it is not horrible to eat a treat, just not so good when it is not planned for and when it leads to you FEELING out of control. I also find that when I have planned for it, sometimes I don't really want it and skip it since I made it through the craving time.

    Dark chocolate isn't so bad for you. I like Hersheys or Dove dark chocolate. The trick is not to OVERindulge!
