Sometimes you go out with the best of intentions but it is just not your day. And today it was not mine.
I drew a workout from my Stack O' Workouts that was an ab workout. OK, I don't usually do all core but my motto is keep your body guessing! And I thought, well, I hit upper and lower pretty good yesterday so a core workout makes sense.
It had mountain climbers, side plank lifts, and half burpees (in-and-outs). Anyone see a pattern here? Anyone remember what I did yesterday?
Yeah, I didn't think that one through very well. My shoulders are toast from "Heather" yesterday (I named my killer shoulder workout after a friend with killer shoulders). I could NOT do it.
Tried to do some HIIT jump rope but I wasn't feeling that either.
The only productive thing I managed to do was my Bicep Blast workout from the Angry Trainer, which I have been doing a couple times a week after my regular workout to gets those guns armed and ready, haha.
10 hammer curls
10 bicep curls
10 pullups or reverse pushups on dip station
Rest 30 seconds between each exercise
This is tougher than it looks and it really works, so if you're looking for a quick little bicep bonus I highly recommend this. Definitely didn't count as a whole workout but hey, whatever. I'm sure tomorrow I'll be ready for something awesome :)
