Life goes on.....

Tuesday, February 05, 2013

I have a few events going on in my life this year and I refuse to let my weight get me down about them.....
My life is not measured by my weight, however being healthier can give me a better quality of life and that is what I want. My best friend is getting married in a few days and I have to travel to be in the wedding. I wish I could be nice and slim, fit red pumps with no problems yet I know that she choose me to be her maid of honor because we are best friends we have gone through a lot and we have always been there for one another. Plus weight is not an issue to her. She just wants to be happy on her big day and want her to be happy too! I feel guilty for being concerned about my weight at a time like this!

What an awesome honor. Enjoy the wedding and like you said you were picked because you are her bestie and I think you look beautiful.

This is normally when I begin to panic about my weight too when I have an event. I feel that at the weight we are currently we are healhty & look good. Losing a few pounds would just give us the courage to STOMP up in da place just because we could. LOL So don't fret! Go be there for her & get out of your own way.

If you're not married you could find your potential mate? True story: when I was maid of honor the best man tried to pick me up unfortunately for him, I was married & 4 months preggers too. So run tell dat! ha

God bless & don't let it get you Babe!
