take 30 seconds to visualize yourself sitting in the middle of an open field, feeling the sunlight shine down on your face. Harness that calm, warm energy to put you on the right track for the day.

Oh how I wish I'd read this in the morning. I was ready for a nap and desperate to go home by 2pm, lol! I did take a few minutes to close my eyes in Viparita Karani (with legs up the filing cabinet) at work and breath until I felt my collar bone open and my shoulders settle back onto the floor. I closed my eyes and enjoyed lying there ... and then REALLY wanted to go home to bed :)
