All the Reasons I Want to Lose Weight...

The Winter 5% has another assignment for today, which is list all the reasons why I want to lose weight:

emoticon To feel lighter on my feet.
emoticon To be more agile.
emoticon To be at peace with me.
emoticon To look better to me.

What do I want to change?
I really don't know what I want to change, per se. I guess I want to change dress sizes! LOL emoticon
Size 8 is the goal. I think I'm in between a 10 & 12. Bottom is 12, top is 10.

How do I want to look?
I think I want to look like a size 8! emoticon

How do you want to feel?
I stated above, I want to feel lighter. I remember when I was 20+ lbs heavier, my knees used to hurt. I barely remember the pain, but I recall that when I was in my 20s, I got down to 140 (my current weight goal) and I remember that knee pain disappeared. It wasn't that bad, but it was uncomfortable. I don't have any pains now... I don't think I'm trying to get off "vanity pounds" either. I'm not a big fan of BMI. I prefer the waist hip ratio and I'm good there as well. I just remember loving the 140s. I remember being at 141 in 2008, I think. And I don't know what happened, but I gained all the way up to where I am now and I have been fluctuating between the 150s-60s ever since. I want to say "Sayonara emoticon " to this YO YO. I want to feel like I have CONTROL over my body!!!! OK, I said all that to say that last sentence. emoticon

What things will you be able to do in the future with a slimmer healthier body?
I think, by being slimmer, I can get rid of the old clothes and fit into the skirt I bought in 2010. I have it with me right now in my drawer here in Hawaii. I carry it with me thinking, "I'm going to fit you!"
I also think I would be able to run faster. I don't like running, but I do sprint and I want to have a better sprint time.

OTHER things I want to change!
I think the only other thing I want to change is how I approach eating. I just really want to overcome the desire to eat and eat. It's a mental thing. I need to have a new "mental."

    It is such a kick to be able to fit into older clothes, especially favorite jeans, Tees, and sweat outfits.

My wardrobe keeps getting bigger as I lose weight.
