I am doing this

So long.

I am not sure, I have never been this far away from blogging but because I am keeping another write up in place, coming here had been a little difficult or rather stressful for me.

This time, I decided to work on my diet and working out becomes a second-class citizen. I am not cutting out the contribution of exercise in my journey but I just need to put my diet in its rightful place once and for all. Let me just know what will work for me and how convenient it will be.

I am happy with the results and I think I have a mentality already, its this popular Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and Diner like a pauper. I am bent on making a straight 7 days streak out of it, although I have not been able to but I am sure I can do it. When I have a establish a system for myself, then I start keeping my body guessing as I may start interchanging my dinner meals for breakfast and vice versa.

As I always say on this weight-loss journey, YOU ARE A LAB RAT!!! Experiment with your body, stamp the facts, dismiss the myths and work with whatever works for you.

    I like your blog--you're right on the money with proportions. I'm also realizing that the diet is where I must focus--exercise is great but diet comes first. Remember to take in sufficient protein at each meal. All the best!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

    I like your point of view. I am just starting this new me and so far it's easy but I know it's gonna get ruff here after while of doin the same thing all the time...I know I will get bored with it. I know everyone trying, making the effort will find success though. You know you best. One of my favorite quotes goes: Take care of your body, It's the only place you have to live. I like to think of that when I see temptations that are not on the path to my goal. Do what works for you...You'll figure it all out. emoticon emoticon

    You hit the nail on the head TemT- dismiss the myths and do what works... I need to remind myself that all the time, because I get stuck in a routine and get too comfortable.... But trying different things to keep the body guessing is important.....
