Rough Time

I've had a kind of rough time lately. My Saturday weigh-in revealed that I gained .4 lbs. While that's not bad, especially for my birthday week, it's not the direction I want to be going.
I haven't really been tracking my food and exercise and I know better! Like I said, it was my birthday on Thursday. Although I didn't have any cake, I did get taken out to lunch. Then this weekend, I got taken out for Basque food, family-style dining. Although I didn't go totally nuts, they give you a lot of food. Then I went to a superbowl party and of course there was food everywhere. I made that my dinner, but it was still more food than I'd normally eat.
I'm so frustrated with myself. It always seems I'm back at the spot where I'm saying I need to get back on track. It's hard to strike that balance.
