The Last Straw

Well, this is the last time!! I really need to lose some weight. Have been on SparkPeople for a few years and weigh the same as when I started. Have lost a few pounds but always gain them back.
But, I think it is time!! I would like to lose only 2 pounds a month. Why is it so hard to lose just that much??
Am reading a book called "Made to Crave" - that is the way God has created us - we are not to crave the things of this world, but we are to crave Him. What I crave is cheese and peanut butter, and I just can't seem to limit the amount that I eat. For an evening snack, I love a thick piece of cheese and a handful of soda crackers. And for breakfast, a couple piece of toast with lots of peanut butter!! The sodium alone is way out of the ballpark for me!! I can eat a piece of fruit or a bit of yogurt but it just does not satisfy my craving.
So, starting now my focus is going to be on my God and with His Help this is my year!!
