One Month In

I'm happy to report that today, I CHOSE to eat baked chicken(although I wanted the crispy fried), steamed broccoli (although I wanted the mac & cheese) and brown rice (even though I wanted the peach cobbler) for lunch today.

I'm one month in and 8lbs LIGHTER. Watching the numbers on the scale decrease is QUITE the motivator. I've watched the scale move up and down this month but right now I have pretty much maintained the same number (give or take a few ounces) for a little more than a week.

I'm shaking it up (meal replacement shake) once a day during the week and exercising portion control for the rest of my meals. A meal replacement shake was a great choice for me because of my schedule and lifestyle. I am a full time student (18hrs), I work full time and I am a full time Mommy of a 4yr old. Our schedule means dance and gymnastics nights for her and class some night for me. I found a HEALTHY meal replacement in a powder form that I add to my smoothies mostly for breakfast but sometimes lunch or dinner.

On to month two.... my "FAT GIRL" pics will be forthcoming.
