Day 4 - No Soda Challenge

And it is killing me!!!!! I have been craving a soda since I got up this morning. I am fighting it hard. I don't have any cash on me to tempt me to go to the vending machine which is a good thing. I have a massive headache. I drank a cup of coffee thinking it was the caffeine but the headache is still there. I am also tired even though I slept about 7 hours last night. I have to get through this though because I know the artificial sweetner is bad for me.

    I have started drinking green tea with lemon and that helps me get away from the fake sugars .... good luck ... Roc

    I have agree with the post telling you about favored water it works i have gone from 3 to 4 a day to one and i make it last a half hour so i enjoy every drop emoticon

you made me smile saying God has a sense of humor !! some days i would not make it with out the smiles he sends my way and little notes he reminds my spark family i need to get going on the healthy spark trail.

    Thanks for the suggestion Seattle58. i will check out their labels. I just have to watch the sugar content. I am drinking a diet snapple right now and it is super sweet. someone gave me some crystal light lemon flavor iced tea things you put in water and shake up but it has aspartame in it and that kind of defeats the purpose of not drinking diet sodas because that is what is in the diet sodas that we want to avoid. Grrrr i can't win lol

    Have you ever tried the flavored sparkling waters? The ones I love are out of WalMart for 68 cents for a liter bottle. Just a thought because I love them! You get your fizz along with drinking your water. I know that it's not caffeine though. Unsweetened tea would be good for you. Even when I was 60 some pounds up, I preferred the unsweetened tea over the sugar stuff! Just a few ideas for you! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    After I posted this blog, I went to my email and Kroger sent me a digital coupon for $1 off a 2 liter of Diet Pepsi. God has a sense of humor I do believe!!!
