Hello, My friends. This is not going to be me whining today. Things are better here and my hubby is going to have the mri done today. His biggest problem is he is scared and he is frustrated he can not do things like he use to. Pride , the feeling of letting me down. Some people can age gracefully, and others can not handle what is thrown their way. Anyway, I really want to talk about nice people, and rewards. My daughter, whom hardly ever misses work, had to miss 2 days, the 2 biggest days where she makes her tips, she is a waitress, she was manager and stepped down when her hubby was sick and about died. She had a foot problem, it swelled so big and a knot came up on the back of her heel, never seen anything like it, it was not like a bone spur. she wouldn't go to doctor ,said she couldn't afford another bill. I told her she couldn't afford not working either , anyway I told her to get some Epsom salt and soak it ,it would take some of the swelling out . It did help . She went to work Sunday, barely made it. One of the ladies that works there, was eating before she started her shift and Michelle waited on her. Then Michelle went to the back, when Nancy was clocking in, Nancy stuck something in her pocket and said that is your tip. Michelle thinking it was a few dollars, pulled it out of her pocket and it was $100.00. She went back out on the floor and told Nancy, this is to much. Nancy told her don't argue ,just keep it she had gotten a small settlement from when her hubby died , and she wanted to do something nice for some one in need and that she loved her. Nancy is in her 60's and feels , Michelle is like her daughter. Michelle ran ball boards for the super bowl and guess what happen? Nancy hit on 2 of them and won $100.00. The whole point of this, what I am trying to say is no good deed is done without some kind of reward, It doesn't have to involve money . It can just be advice , kind words, a smile. God's blessings may be big or small, but he blesses us everyday. My blessing is he is with me everyday, and even if I am having hard times, he will help me and show me a way. And yes with so many bad things happening all around us, they are still good people in the world and always a helping hand.I have allot of helping hands here at sparkpeople, allot of friends and prayers. Life is only what we make of it. Even though my curves is closing, There is the possibility of some one buying it and relocated it. If that happens I will go back. If not I will find something else , who knows I might find a better thing. And for my daughter I know God is looking out for her. I love you all Have a wonderful blessed day.
