My Motivation for Today

Tuesday, February 05, 2013

I like to think that I look nice. I enjoy buying clothes in smaller sizes. But I do not enjoy looking at myself in those three way dressing room mirrors. I get to see all my lumpy areas, all the jiggly spots. But lately when I go into the dressing room, I am amazed at how I look. While my body is still not perfect, I like the way I look.

I went shopping yesterday, and felt good about how I look. I don't remember ever looking in the mirror and thinking you look thin. I don't think that happened even when I was 13 pounds less than I am now and in my 30's. So my NSV for yesterday is how happy I am with how I look in dressing room mirrors.

i am a work in progress. While I still need to get more toned, and lose a few pounds. I can love myself for how I am right now.

I am a work in progress.

Have a sparked day.
