Cold Weather and Exercise

It can be tough to exercise in the cold weather. It can be too dangerous to exercise outside in sone of this bitterly cold weather. It also can be difficult to make yourself go back out to the gym after you get home in the evening when it is cold out. We need to have some alternate plans. We can stop at the gym before we go home, we can walk on our breaks at work if there is the space or we need to have a progem we can do at home on those days. Keep moving.

    Hi I am from the Atlantic Coast and I know that feeling of dreading going out and battling the cold and nasty roads, so for me I keep a few workout dvds in my basement, and play on wii fit plus and just a few free weights for those cold stormy days! If you have a set stairs in the house, you can use them as a step climber. Those are my methods for coping with the cold winter weather, hopefully you can find what works for you! Good luck!
