Day 6 0f 84 - (12-Week Body Transformation Challenge)

Feb 5, 2013 - TUESDAY

So it is almost at the end of Week 1 and I've already lost 4 pounds.

My goal for Week 2 is that by the end, I hope to melt more fat and stick to eating as much raw fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds as my body needs. I'm trying hard to avoid the processed/cooked grains and refined sugars. Lifting weights seem to be more of the answer for me. Having muscles trim the inches off, sounds backwards I know, but they do. I was at Spin Class the other day and literally just started a lifting routine the day before. It was the first time in a long time that I've worked on a lifting routine and boy did I notice my arms in the mirror the next day!! They were super toned. Now if we can only do the same thing for my stomach.... LOL.

Anyway, I hope to not order the thin crust veggie pizza after my gym workout this morning. I've been battling with myself and with these cravings hardcore for the past 3 days after jumping back on the healthy wagon. I came so close to buying chocolates and stopping by Sheri's Restaurant or the Cafeteria at work everyday for breakfast after my graveyard shift. I also came close to ordering Pizza for the past two days. Let me tell you, when my mind wants to fail, it wants to fail bad. I know if I cave, I am going to allow myself to eat whatever and how ever much I want again. This is the continuous cycle, and this is how it always starts, ends, and begins.

I plan on doing Shoulders/Traps/Calves with weights and then Pilates class afterwards.
