I'm too busy.
That's Excuse #1 for everything. I'm too busy to eat healthy. I'm too busy to cook. I'm too busy to plan my meals. I'm too busy to work out. I'm too busy to take care of my own health.
I certainly make time to eat. (Obviously, or I'd be skeletal.) I get anxious if I get too hungry, so I always make sure to have some kind of snack with me, and a bottle of water. These days I carry a meal-replacement bar with decent stats.
Yesterday I was really, really busy. Big project at work is going full throttle. I'm not home much. Eating at my desk, or at the cafeteria.
We have choices.
I managed to make healthier food choices all day yesterday. Non-scale victory: staying on target while being crazy-busy makes me really proud of myself. Bonus NSV: I'm ramped up to make myself proud again today.
