It is so easy to fall out of routine of working out and eating right. I feel so blah right now! I staying in my calories yesterday and the day before but didn't workout. I feel bad not because I had to workout and didn't but because I miss the feeling after a good walk or a day of lots of movement! I will do a walk today and get some cleaning done and I'm actually looking forward to it! I want a more active lifestyle and actually crave it! It's funny how I have changed in such a short amount of time! I would avoid movement like the plague and now I'm craving it!! I know that I'm going to be prone to sitting around more then moving so I'll always have to put in effort but the pay off of moving is greater then sitting!! I now don't just want to do right I need to do right to be happy! I love this change! emoticon

I know, it's quite a shocker to how our bodies can change and crave something like exercise!! Exercise? ha! I always hated it and avoided it like the plague too! Oh my, how we can change and actually love and crave exercise. I go a day without it and I feel so lost! Yes, what a good feeling it is to us. Just keep thinking that and your craving for it, will march you right into doing it every day!

emoticon One of the Biggest Shocks - To Me -- was how QUICKLY I began to Crave the Movement/Activity. It is the Polar Opposite of my Lifestyle before but I cannot imagine going back to taking the Shortcut, parking close to Stores, and Sitting in Front of The TV for HOURS at a time.

emoticon The only draw back is that I actually have caught my self starting to 'Take The Long Way' when I am DRIVING to some place! Not A Great Idea with Gas Prices being what they are, LOL!!

Exercise is my biggest downfall. I have to make myself do it. I love to walk though. I am anxiously awaiting spring where it will be warm again and I can get out there.
Keep up the good work, you are doing awesome.

It supposedly takes 21 days to make a habit, so good work getting back to active. You are smart to realize how much better you will feel.

I've been in a workout slump since Thanksgiving. Before that I was weightlifting and using an indoor bike. I got so involved with decorating, giving away tons of stuff to needy families that exercise just went away. Now maybe once or twice a week I get on the bike. I see my hard work going away but still I'm not doing the weights or exercising five times a week. My hubby got me a real bike and my legs hurt so bad when I tried to ride it down the street, I haven't gotten on it again. I need to find a motivation, no luck so far!
