Meatless Monday and my 1miler jog/run

I saw this and thought it rather comical...but I really was bent over after my one mile jog this morning. But yet in still it felt emoticon ..and I loved the way running felt..I wanna do it again not sure when but it's one of my goals for 2013 so it has to get done emoticon

Now onto emoticon Monday...this was.a.challenge in that I love my meat but not so MUCH of a challenge that I couldnt do it but they made it so hard at work...for those that don't know I work at Chili's and we are featuring our new food...ta dah... emoticon and the made them for us to try at work..ALOT of them...pepperoni,taco supreme, chicken supremex4...step away from the emoticon and that I did...woohoo

So my meatless monday was:breakfast ...egg omelet with spinach and tomatoes and wheat toast.
Snacks today were....bananas,strawberries,g
rapefruit(yum love this stuff)
Lunch was...strawberry egg white protein shake with two medium bananas,cup of strawberries,cup of pineapple, and cup of blueberries with almond milk(yummy goodiness)
Big snack....shakeology shake with emoticon and almond butter w/almond milk
Dinner....cheese ravioli w/marinara sauce and tomato basil soup sprinkled with parmesan cheese(delish)

So happy to report I did indeed survive my first full mile jog and meatless Monday and I lived to tell about it emoticon ...wasn't so bad..just not in a hurry for next Monday to get here :)

    Now that's the ticket!! I work around food too as I order the catered lunches & let me tell you, I am so there with you. You can stop yourself by thinking of all that you CAN eat. Works like a charm & you can go without meat for one day right? You might even extend it to certain meals like the weekend before so you already on auto pilot by the time Monday comes....

I also do meatless Mondays it took a while 4 hubby 2 get on board but now the whole family does it

    Sounds AWESOME...Can't actually remember the last time I had ravioli...don't really eat pasta...but I think I might do that one night soon....mmmmmmm

Congrats on your mile run! I have been transitioning to a vegetarian diet over the last year. I admit I do love my burgers! Have found lots of vegetarian alternatives and am really enjoying it. Upside is that the recipes are often less calories so I get to eat more.
