Today starts the Spring Healthy Living Challenge. For the Week 1 challenge we have to write about what we hope to gain (or lose) in the 8 weeks that this challenge runs. I must answer these two questions in order to gain 50 points (per question):
1. What are your goals for this challenge? What do you want to accomplish (doesn't specifically have to be weight related) over these next 8 weeks?
--I hope to lose at least 10 lbs and work my way to walking/jogging a 5k.
2. How will you go about reaching those goals and work toward those accomplishments? What do you need to do to make them happen?
--I will be exercising at least 3 times a week doing the C25K challenge at my own pace. On my off days I'm hoping to work in some strength training and fighting with my heavy bag. I really want to build my endurance. What I need to accomplish my goals is support from my teammates and for them to hold me accountable. Don't let me slack off, as I tend to do.
