Ran a 5K last Saturday. It was a bit hilly -- 330 something feet of elevation gain. I paced out with a group that I would pass on the climbs, then they would pass me on the downhill. Ended up coming in at 28:46 (9:15 pace). That's a pretty good time for me.
I have a 10k in 2 weeks. It's a bit hilly as well. I would like to come in under a 9 minute pace. I'm not sure that's realistic. I'll have to lose some weight to pull that off, so here we go!
