I am on the road traveling today and will be living out of a hotel for the next four days. I avoid fast food at all costs but today I made and exception. I was so hungry I couldn't think straight. It was four and a half hours in between my breakfast and lunch and I wanted something quick. I got on the internet and looked up the nutrition facts for Chik-fil-a. I was able to get an 8 pc chicken nugget, waffle fry and cup of chicken soup for about 700 calories. That was a good chunk of calories but I needed calories. I didn't need Chik-fil-a and I felt it later. The tight stomach and bloat and I just didn't feel good. I do not miss fast food. Thankfully, I was smart enough to stock my hotel room with good options (soups, bananas, apples, light popcorn, water bottles). I just have to make I dont allow myself to go that long in between meals. To offset the bubble-gut inducing meal, I went to the hotel gym and mostly walked on incline and did some jogging on the treadmill for an hour and forty minutes. I managed to still have a caloric deficit of over 700 with an hour and a half to spare. Here is to hoping the scale is kind this weekend.
