So, I did South Beach for a week, lost 5 lbs and was sooooo excited. I took off the weekend, thinking I would start Shred on today. Now I didn't go crazy with my eating, I actually thought I did really well, but I managed to put on 4 of the lbs I lost. UGH! I know I lost water weight last week but I didn't think it would come back so quickly once I ate some grain.
I figure that it is time to get some lasting weight loss and I do realize that weight will come off slower that way, but it is worth it if it STAYS OFF!
I started off with Cheerios, skim milk, and a banana and here's the plan for the rest of the day:
M: Cheerios, skim milk, and a banana
M: Protein drink and an orange
S: Raw veggies and homeade hummus
M: Veggie salad w/ 1/2 avocado, beans and light dressing
M: Chicken and veggie stir fry
I do have to swap the protein and beans from meal 3 to meal 4 for practical planning but I often had to do the same for Extreme Fat Smash with no negative impact.
I know Saturday will be a challenge because I have a ladies night Bunco party but if I keep it clean the rest of the week and keep my fun that night in moderation, then I should be just fine:) Gotts live too, right:)
