Day 113 HA!

Today was just another Manic Monday!! I just couldn't take it any longer, so I did something about it!!

Not being able to work out is driving me nuts!! I had some serious 4 wall syndrome going on and I had to do something about it!! Monday has been my get to the gym and kick the week off right. Especially today, after Super Bowl Festivities and Family for the weekend, I really could have used that Monday kick in the rump!! I didn't go too far overboard with my food, but I did go a little overboard and I could feel it. Tami asked me if I wanted to walk with her to take Isaiah to the bus this morning....DUH!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW??!?!?!?!?!!...... So we did just that!! It felt so good to get outside and walk, I can't even begin to describe how it felt. Isaiah got on the bus and she asked if I wanted to walk a little farther..... after all these years, I wonder how she still misses the "i'm going crazy vibes"...... YES!! So we walked and walked and when we got home we had walked 2+ miles. IT FELT SO GOOD!! And I wasn't out of breath and I didn't feel any pain.

Tami had an Avon meeting later this morning, so I stayed home and worked on my part for the meeting in two weeks. I still had the urge to move, I was still very antsy. When she got home, we made a wonderful sandwich together for lunch, then just worked on some stuff.... all the while my legs are twitching, wanting to move.... We talked about and decided to go for another walk before the bus brought Isaiah home, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!! So we walked and walked and walked. When we got home, I was 4 1/2 miles for the day and I felt fabulous!

Tonight I could dinner, New Orleans Red Beans and Rice with Turkey Kielbasa in it.... my cajun Aunt Karen would be proud!! When I got out of my chair to go cook dinner, my legs let me know that they got a little bit of a workout today, but my abdomen doesn't hurt. As I sit here now typing this, I look at my fitbit and it says my mileage for today is 5.2 miles.

Tomorrow morning I go see the surgeon so he can check out my surgery area. I hope he gives me the ok to go back to the gym, even if it's just for cardio for now, I can deal with that. Have a great night all!!
