the knee saga continues...

Monday, February 04, 2013

So today I went to the Orthopedic doctor today about my knee. They took x-rays and...nothing! I was hoping for something simply for an explanation but he didn't think he was going to see anything anyway, so he wants me to get an MRI. I should find out when I go for that tomorrow. I have to continue the PT exercises because if I don't it does get worse, so I guess that is a good sign. It just stinks that I can't do lunges and squats and run or do the crosstrainer or zumba all the things that were working for me to lose weight. I gained 10lbs over the holidays and have not been able to get rid of it which is totally frustrating me. I certainly hope something comes of this. I am also thinking of seeing how much it will cost to join the local YMCA because I think I want to start swimming again. I am feeling better about the weight loss this week...I had a piece of clothing that was beginning to be a little tight that was back to being comfortable...I certainly hope that is a good sign :)

TTYL!!!

I have a back injury, and swimming is what all doctors recommend for me, it's a great full body work out and you can do it with your injured knee, it will help you get back into your routine.
I hope you find out what is wrong with your knee soon.
