Still Painful

Monday, February 04, 2013

Today I have decided to cancel my contract with CURVES until I know what in the heck is going on with my ankle. Since I have to let them know 30 days in advance, I guess I can stay on the meal plan until then. In the meantime, do Wii exercises that do not require too much walking or stepping. I also have that recumbent bike. I still have had no time to rest my ankle to allow healing time. The weekend was so busy and so was today with Avon deliveries and brochure passing out. I think I traveled in the truck alone 100 miles today just going from town-to-town delivering and passing them out. I also got 4 orders. emoticon Tomorrow is a bit of the same but not so hectic. There is great deals on makeup this and last campaign in which you can still order from. What is picking up on orders is Satin Glow Bronzing Gel and lotion too. I guess I had better not advertise too much on these blogs. emoticon

I think tomorrow I will call my regular doctor and get a reference to a podiatrist and find out what's going on or perhaps get it xrayed.

As Janet said, when we ignore our body messages, we often pay a big price. Your days are very busy but come evening for sure you must have some time when you can take care of that ankle...please do.

Please do get it checked out. I hurt my ankle several years ago and didn't have it checked because I just assumed it was sprained. Now, all these years later, I've had surgery to repair tendons torn and shredded by a sharp bone piece. It'll be worth it to take the time to go to the doctor.

Hopefully you can get in and get it checked soon. It's never good to mess around with ankle injuries. My mother hurt her foot years ago and never went in to have it checked until after it had healed incorrectly. Now she is too stubborn to have the surgery necessary to fix it properly so she can barely walk on it.
