Survived the day at work...

Monday, February 04, 2013

It wiped me out pretty good; but I did manage to get through the day. It wasn't too bad. A few coughing bouts but none like I had on Saturday. So that's all good!

Now, if I could only get my stupid equipment to cooperate at work. That same instrument is causing me trouble again. It started failing to pass fluidics tests again. Thankfully it's only behaving badly during tests. I told you it would have to earn my trust. I got my libraries back up to the point where I can run them. It was only about a weeks worth of work. The quality looks to be pretty good too. Now... if I can just get the machine to work. Ain't technology grand...
emoticon It's a love/hate relationship!

Anyway, I'm out of computer time. It was a gym day so I'm WAY behind. Plus it's time for the start of the new season of Top Gear (the UK version, it's the best!). Catch you later!

    Glad you're feeling better!

Technology - it's how I make my living, so I have to say I rather like it when it misbehaves because it gives me something to do LOL I just wish it weren't messing with your work so much. Fingers crossed for better behavior!

I hate when computers misbehave. I suspect your machinery is a bit like that. A good swift kick.. no wait, that might not work.

I was at a job site that told a story about an event they held to raise money for charity. When it was time to upgrade their old hardware, they sold tickets for $1 for which a person could take a hit with a hammer at the old computers. $1/smack down. I forget how much money they raised but I remember at the time I thought it was a lot. Isn't that a good idea?!

I hope your machine behaves today!

It's going around. I'm waiting for the NyQuil to kick in right now, lol. Hang in there, and take care of your health.
